California

Income Taxes – All Individuals or Entities (Corporations, LLCs, S-Corp)

Tax Filing Deadline: Delayed to July 15, 2020

Tax Payment Deadline: Delayed to July 15, 2020

The Franchise Tax Board (FTB) is automatically applying the extensions to all California taxpayers. This includes all 2019 tax returns, 2019 tax return payments, 2020 Q1 and Q2 estimated payments, 2020 LLC taxes and fees, and 2020 nonwage withholding payments.

Michigan

Sales, Use and Withholding Tax Returns

Any return originally due on March 20, 2020 can be filed by April 20, 2020 without penalty or interest.

Minnesota

Individual Income Taxes

At this point, no change in the filing deadline (April 15, 2020). However, taxpayers affected by Covid-19 and unable to file or pay by the deadline can request an abatement of penalties or interest imposed.

Oregon

Personal Income Tax

Tax Filing Deadline: Unchanged (4/15/2020)*

Tax Payment Deadline: Delayed by 90 days (7/15/2020)

*The DOR is relying on outdated IRS information. We expect this date to change shortly in order to conform to IRS guidance.

Corporate Activity Tax (CAT)

Initial Quarterly Payments are due April 30, 2020. The Department will not assess underpayment penalties to taxpayers making a good faith effort to estimate their first quarter payments.

South Carolina

Income Taxes (Individual or Corporate)

All filings and payments originally due on April 15, 2020 have now been extended to July 15, 2020.

All Other Taxes Administered by the Department of Revenue (Sales & Use Tax, Withholding, Etc.)

All filings and payments due April 1 – June 1, 2020 have been automatically extended to June 1, 2020.
